Sorry for blogging so late. So i liked the chinatown trip because i learnt many things which i did not know before. I love the URA as it was air conditioned. The visit to the temple was quite intresting too.
It was sad when we lost the race but at least we learnt something and had a great time with all of our friends. Other then the bad weather this trip was really enjoyable.

did you enjoy the chinatown trip?Did you think that it was hot?Because I did....I accidentally fell asleep on the bus on the way back to school.My head was nodding....^^ Did you all think the Thian Hock Kian temple was ancient?I thought it was nice though.... In what ways do you think they use to secure the wood without using a single nail? Besides thumb and finger joints?The other one is using the curved hand method.They curve onto each other,and do not fall out of place.Hope you like my news!Thought the Goddess of the Sea was powerful with the help of Qian Li Yan,and Xun Feng Er,her helpers.By for now!

Hello! This is Photosynthesis Phoebe. Sorry i could not do the blog earlier. So Chinatown was quite good. The treasure hunt was so fun. I did question 2. Oh and I just simply love the URA! okay so i like it because there is air con. The temple was not that good, however I must be POSITIVE! I find that the things they say is a little strange. Maybe its because i am a christian. And for the thing that Miss Junaida said about the gracious SIngaporean was funny. I mean that girl was not shocked when she found the handbag. And like she said, people can lose phones, wallet, but not an entire handbag! That is one classic story! Okay, i have been blogging way too much!

I totaly agree with you Kimberly people do not eat with etiquette instead they gorge down food like there is no tommorow!! they chew loudly and eat withthier hands streched out widely living no space for others. These are the ways of how i look out for ugly Singaporeans and in my very own family i can already name a few (e.g. My sisters)Anyway I hope that there is no ugly singaporeans in our class. Singaporeans in general are selfish and bad in their manners. Take for example, at a buffet party, they usually take more food than they are able to finish and they end up having lots of leftovers. At hawker centres and even at food court outlets many of them like to reserve their seats in advance before buying their food simply by putting on a packet of tissue paper on the seat. During rush hours in the morning and evening when catching the MRT train, many of them did not give way to alighting passengers as they just dashed into the train. They also failed to keep the public toilets clean after they have used it. They have the habit of queuing up for many hours to get freebies!

erm.....i like this excursion to chinatown as it was really fun and i think this trip is good for me as i can learn alot of things about the people that live long long time ago.i really love the shopping on the streets even though the weather was not very good.During the shopping, i brought lots of sweet as they were really very cheap,while i was walking, i realised tat there were some of the stalls selling anime clothes and wallets, even though they were nice i did not buy them as i did not seen the shop keeper.........hahaha

I don't really like the trip to Chinatown as it was really HOT or in fact,SUPER DUPER HOT!!! Frankly speaking,the trip was interesting and I had learnt many different things which i never learn before.I love the free time we had as we could buy things,shop and even do our favourite thing, chit chatting..I was so shocked to hear that actually the carvings on the temple meant something!So cool!!!I would like to have a trip like that again but not with that kind of weather!!! :( and :)

I didn't really like the trip to Chinatown as the weather was TOO hot. Even though it DRIZZLED, it was still really hot. I enjoyed going to the URA building as there was AIR-CONDITIONING. And a TOILET-BREAK which I didn't really need to use the toilet at that time. I did not like the temples as I found it extremely hot in there and honestly I found the statues really scary. I didn't really understand the temple things and I was standing there.. "Uuuh". Other than the temples, I thought that around the food areas, more like the fruit areas, I think they should have cleaned up the place a little bit. Whenever I walked passed the garbage bins I would feel like vomiting, I couldn't stand the smell of fruits either. Other than the weather, the "smelliness" and the temples, I thought that the trip was pretty okay, for Chinatown.

I liked the trip to Chinatown although the trip was tiring as I get to learn many things from this meaningful trip like where and when the temple was built and how other religions that I do not know yet.And my tour guide also gave us questions to answer and we had to answer them. Even though this trip was short but we get to learn many new things about what we did not know that actually happened in Singapore many years ago. And I think this trip to Chinatown is well spent on even though we were very exhausted after the trip. The part that I enjoyed the most was the treasure hunt.

Hello! This is Phoebe! Okay so this does not replace our journals..But I still LOVE THIS BLOG! I mean if we do not want to talk during class time..or cannot talk, we can always type our feelings! :) Speaking of feelings, about Ugly SIngaporeans, i feel that people from Singapore are a little inconsiderate.. Like this one time, I was at Popular, this middle aged man went around tearing the plastic to see. And when he was heppy, he took a new one! How disgusting! There was also another time during the December holidays that I was going to Hong Kong by flying the plane. Guess what? Some teenagers were busy kicking my chair! ! was quite fed up then. I said too musck already right? haha! I am just following the rules of using proper english! So if Miss Junaida or any of 6 Gentleness classmates of mine see this, please say i am not naggy! Since this post I am writting is all words, i will paste some pictures! :)

Hey girls,

Thanks Val for the skin. Simple is good. I am glad you have initiated some rules for the class blog. However, let me re-iterate to my dear Phoebe. Dear, this blog does not replace journals. The journals are used for newspaper responses, book responses and other personal stuff that you would like to share with me.

However, girls, what we can do is this. If let's say we had an interesting discussion in class, we can continue the discussion here. As you girls do already know, time is limited in class and there are many ideas you girls would love to share with each other. From this blog, i would need all of you to practise writing using good English. Singaporeans or not, good English is appreciated around the world. In time to come, you will find writing is a joy.

Oh and Val, will it be okay if you just put our names without the surnames. You might even want to use nicknames. Get the girls to give you their nicknames. Whatever it is, i do not want anyone spending too much time on this blog. If i do find that the blogging is taking too much time, i will have no choice but to remove it.
